An affogato at Our Lucky Stars Café & Coffee Roasters in Warkworth, was ordered for me by a friend. I had forgotten how sublime this combination of ice cream and espresso could be and immediately knew I had to create a bar to capture this magic.
Our Affogato Bar is based on this traditional Italian dessert. It’s filled with freeze dried local ice cream and locally roasted, organic, fair trade coffee beans from the café that inspired it.
