Humans have been enjoying chocolate for over 4000 years.  From the frothy drink prepared for rituals in Mesoamerica to our current selection of gourmet chocolate bars, cacao has been celebrated as ‘food of the gods’, as currency, as a nutritious food source, and as a canvas for art.

Discover the science and history of this amazing food while creating your own personal chocolate artwork.  Chocolatier Angela Roest will tantalize your palate and guide you on your own sweet artistic journey.

This 2 hour chocolate experience begins with a guided tasting of several single origin chocolates and an exploration of what makes them so unique.  Then we take a look into the history and biology of this wonderful food and then… we get messy!  During the hands-on part of the workshop, you’ll paint, pour and package your own trio of fully customized chocolate bars.
